Tempest Keep: The Eye is a 25-Man raid, which will be introduced to TBC Classic once Phase 2 hits the Live Servers. Currently, the Phase 2 Patch in on the PTR, meaning it will not be far off. In order to be able to enter Tempest Keep: The Eye, players must have completed the attunement chain for the new raid.

In order to complete The Eye Attunement, Players must complete a long quest chain in Shadowmoon Valley. The Tempest Keep Attunment Quest starts with The Hand of Gul’dan at [42,45]. Once this Quesline is completed, the player is lead to A’dal in Shattrath City, where the Trials of the Naaru will begin. Upon completing both the Tempest Keep Attunement and the Serpentshrine Cavern Attunment Quests, Players are rewarded with the title: <Name>, Champion of the Naaru.

Shadowmoon Valley Questline

  1. The Hand of Gul’dan
    Speak with Earthmender Torlok at the Altar near Gul’dan.
  2. Enraged Spirits of Fire and Earth
    Gather 8 Fire & Earth souls by placing the totem and killing the nearby elementals.
  3. Enraged Spirits of Water
    Gather 5 Water souls. They are located north of Gul’dan, along with some Naga.
  4. Enraged Spirits of Air
    Gather 10 Air souls. Find them at the very north and south edges of Shadowmoon Valley.
  5. Oronok Torn Heart
    Speak to Oronok at [53,23].
  6. I was a lot of things
    Gather 10 Shadowmoon Tubers nearby.
  7. A Lesson Learned
    Destroy 10 Ravager eggs, also located nearby.
  8. The Cipher of Damnation – Truth and History
    Complete the below Quest Chains to gather all the fragments. Here is a Map of their locations!
    1. First Fragment of Damnation
      1. Grom’tor Son of Oronok
        Talk to Grom’tor, Son of Oronok at [44,23]
      2. The Cipher of Damnation – Grom’tors charge
        Recover the fragment from the lockboxes around the area. Get the keys from the Naga.
      3. The Cipher of Damnation – The first fragment recovered
        Go back to Oronok once you have all fragments.
    1. Q: Second Fragment of Damnation
      1. Ar’tor, Son of Oronok
        Talk to Ar’tor, Son of Oronok at [30,50]
      2. Demonic Crystal Prisons
        Kill Painmistress Gabrissa and get the Crystalline Key from her.
      3. Lohn’goron, Bow of the Torn-heart
        Kill nearby demons until Lohn’goron, Bow of the Torn-heart drops.
      4. The Cipher of Damnation Ar’tor’s Charge
        Walk south with the NPC in tow, towards [29, 58]. Kill Veneratus the Many when he appears to get the second fragment.
      5. The Cipher of Damnation – The Second Fragment Recovered
        Go back to Oronok once you have all fragments.
    2. Third Fragment of Damnation
      1. Borak, Son of Oronok
        Talk to Borak, Son of Oronok at [48,57]
      2. Of Thistleheads and Eggs…
        Find a Rotten Arakkoa Egg by opening the Eggs south-west of Borak. This may take a while.
      3. The Bundle of Bloodthistle
        After turning the Egg in in Shattrath, go back to Borak.
      4. To Catch A Thistlehead
        Place the Bloodthistle at the other end of the bridge, then wait for the exchange and kill the remaining bloodelf.
      5. The Shadowmoon Shuffle
        Gather 6 Eclipsion Armor from the bloodelves in Eclipse Point.
      6. What Illidan Wants, Illidan Gets…
        Deliver Illidan’s Message to Grand Commander Ruusk at Eclipse Point. Make sure to stay in the disguise.
      7. The Cipher of Damnation – Borak’s Charge
        Kill Ruul the Darkener and get the thrid fragment from him.
      8. The Cipher of Damnation – The Third Fragment Recovered
        Go back to Oronok once you have all fragments.
  1. The Cipher of Damnation
    Summon and Kill Cyrukh the Firelord at the Altar of Damnation, near Gul’dan.

Trails of the Naaru – Dungeon & Raid Questline

Once the first part in Shadowmoon Valley is completed, you will get mail from Khadgar, requesting to speak to you. This is the start of the Dungeon & Raid part of the Attunement Quest Line for Tempest Keep: The Eye. The Trials of the Naaru are as follows:

  1. Trial of the Naaru – Mercy
    This is the Shattered Halls “timerun”. You must complete the dungeon before the debuff runs out, there will be some NPCs and another mob after the endboss.
  2. Trial of the Naaru – Strength
    Recover Kalithresh’s Trident and Murmur’s Essence from Steamvault and Shadow Labyrinth Heroic.
  3. Trial of the Naaru – Tenacity
    Have Millhouse Manastorm survive the final encounter of The Arcatraz Heroic.
    Tip: Make sure everyone has at least 8k HP for this.
  4. Trial of the Naaru – Magtheridon
    Kill Magtheridon.
  5. Done. Congratulations!
